Chapter 1: Hearing the Voices And Finding the Bad News

(Naruto’s POV)

I was playing basketball with Sasuke in the gym. Sasuke was better, but I never stopped trying. Ino, a girl with long blonde hair came inside the gym.

“What are you guys doing here?” She asked us, “Get out. The gym is being used for talent show Auditions.”

“How come we didn’t know?” I asked.

“Well, maybe if you guys watch the morning announcements on the TV, then you would have known!” Tenten said walking into the gym with a student desk.

“C’mon Naruto. Let’s play on the blacktop.” Sasuke said picking up the basketball.

“Fine…”

When we got outside, I didn’t want to play, “Hey Sasuke, why don’t we take a small peep at what some of the talents are?”

“Cuz that would be stupid. I’m not interested in girls dancing to ballet and that crap.” Sasuke threw the basketball in the hoop.

“Come on! They’re over here!” I saw Temari running into the gym. What was going on? Sasuke and I got quiet. We walked up to the gym door and placed our ears against it to listen to what was happening inside.

“Yeah. Wow. Who ever is in here has some voice!”

“Nothing. It’s just something my mom listened to. She didn’t stop singing it.”

“That’s very nice you two.” Ino’s voice cut the two lovely singing voices off, “It says here you two write your own songs. Could we hear it?”

“Sure.” One voice said, “You ready?”

“Yeah” another voice answered.

Everything got quiet. I herd clapping in the room.

“BRAVA! BRAVA! You two are going to be our finishing act! You girls were wonderful!” The principle said. She was probably the one who told Ino and Tenten not to let anyone inside.

“What are you guys doing?” I herd a voice from behind me. Sasuke and I turned around. It was Gaara and Shino, “Move out of the way.” Gaara said.

“Calm down Gaara. We already knew they were gonna do this shit so why did you plan the date one hour after school?” Shino said.

“I don’t give a damn if they are in the middle of a song. The movie starts in a half an hour. They shouldn’t even waste their time on silly singing shit.” Gaara said coldly.

The gym doors opened and two girls walked out. Who were those two that sang? NO! NOT THEM!

(Sasuke's POV)

What the hell were Gaara and Shino doing here? Who were they talking about?! I herd the door creak open. The people who were singing were comin out...Who? Who were the ones singing?...HOLY SHIT NOT THEM!

"Thanks Tsunade." Sakura Haruno said while walkin out of the gym. Damn it...why in the whole world did it have to be them!

Hinata Hyuuga and Sakura Haruno. I remember the day Naruto and I met them.

--flashback--

Two little girls were playing in the sandbox outsude our Kindergarten room. Naruto and I walk out. They were too preppy. That one with the pink hair was such a cry baby. That one with blue hair was such a weakling. You could poke her shoulder and she would burst out in tears. Naruto and I walk up to them and kick sand into there face. YThat was so much fun to do. Pinky started crying and Weakling started crying as well.

Sakura looked down at me.

"What are you doing here?" she asked me.

"I know you weren't the one singing. You were such a baby."

I saw her face turn red. Saying that right in front of Gaara her boyfriend.

"Why I oughta..."

"C'mon Sakura. The movie is gonna start soon." Gaara said trying to grab her arm to drag her out.

"Hang on Gaara. Listen you, Hinata and I worked our asses off trying to get ready for these auditions so if you're just gonna make fun of us just for that thing you did in kindergarten then you are sorrowly mistaken!"

"You have changed..." I said.

"C'mon girls...we have a movie to catch..." Shino and Gaara led Sakura and Hinata out of the doors. I herd them ask one thing before they left.

"Gaara...what did you think?" Sakura asked her boyfriend.

"...I didn't get here in time to hear you..."

"Oh..." Sakura and Hinata looked sad with them. Why would they even date those guys if they were miserable?

"Dude they sang beautifully!" Naruto said staring at the door Hinata and Sakura went out of.

"Are you trying to say that you're falling in love with them?!"

"Maybe...I don't know...why out of all the mother fu-"

"NARUTO UZAMAKI IN MY OFFICE NOW!" Tsunade our principle came out. Damnit Naruto you have to learn where and when to cuss out loud...

"WHAT?! WHY?!!" He only dreams of not getting into trouble at school just once for not cussing...

"I herd you loud and clear. I said in my office NOW! Or I'll give you a suspencion!" WOAH! Naruto never got into this much trouble before! I'm his friend...should I help him?...nah...Tsunade would only get me in trouble and I wanted to see if Naruto could get himself out of this one...

--The movie theater--(Sakura's POV)

'Why were they near the gym doors?' I really wanted to know...Sasuke and Naruto have been our enemies since kinergarden but...there was something about Sasuke that made me want to be with him sooo much...Gaara never talks to me, he's always ignoring everything I say, and he doesn't even want to kiss me on the cheek! GOD! He put his arm around me in the theaters. We were watching "Phantom of the Opera" I love this movie! I never got tired of it since it was musical and I love singing in the whole entire world!!! Hinata and I told each other that we love our boyfriends...but I get a heart acheing feeling when I say that about Gaara...I was teasing myself once in front of the mirror and I said I love Sasuke just for the fun of it...my heart didn't ache...I felt...like I didn't want to be away from him...What's going on?! I can't love Sasuke! I'm dating Gaara!
